Make a classic quarter zip pullover with this two-part class
The Zipper Sweater from Petite Knits features a quarter zip design that does not require a sewing machine to complete! This class is divided into two parts: collar and upper body set up and followed by working the body in the round, zipper placket pick up and picking up the sleeves

Supplies:
Needles: US 8 and US 6 (or size needed to obtain gauge) 32”- 40” needles for Magic Loop or US 4 DPNs / 16” circular for smaller ribbing if you don’t wish to use Magic Loop

1 closed end zipper 12 or 14” long
Worsted/ Aran Weight Yarn or (2 strands held double to make Worsted Weight)
Sizes: 45¾ (48½) 50¾ (52¼) 55 (59¾) 63 (67¾) 70¾ inches
Worsted Weight yarn: 1050 (1194) 1290 (1385) 1528 (1670) 1720 (1720) 1800 yds|
10 g coordinating lace weight or mohair yarn for zipper installation
Optional: sewing machine for zipper installation

Class 1: April 4 (6:30pm CST - 8:30 pm CST)
- Swatching, sizing and supplies
Class 2: April 11
Provisional ribbing cast-on and working the collar
Break - finish neck ribbing and begin working yoke flat or with an optional steek panel installation
Class 3: May 9
Joining the yoke in the round
Class 4: May 16
Picking up the zipper facings
Class 5: May 23
Installing the zipper two ways: tapestry needle or

Classes are taught via Zoom with two cameras: one for Laura’s face and audio and the other focused on Laura’s hands for demonstration.
